Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers is a cooperative effort between law enforcement agencies in Santa Clara County, local media, and a volunteer board of directors.
Our program allows anonymity to those who submit information about serious crimes as we do not ask for names or personal information from our tipsters.
WIth our law enforcement partnership, our program operates a website (siliconvalleycrimestoppers.org), the P3TIPS mobile app, and telephone line (408) 947-STOP (7867) for the community to report non emergency crime tip information anonymously.
If the information you provide leads to an arrest, you are eligible for a cash reward from the Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers program.
Community members are urged to submit their crime tips using the P3TIPS mobile app, or by calling (408) 947–STOP (7867) if they have information they would like to submit anonymously.
You can connect to P3TIPS by clicking on the button that indicates P3TIPS below.
Cash rewards up to $1,000 are offered for information leading to an arrest. Cash rewards do vary in dollar amounts depending on crimes.
The Santa Clara Police Department's Investigations Division is committed to investigating all crimes, including Cold Cases.
A Cold Case is a crime, accident or missing person case that has gone unsolved. While each case is unique, most of these cases have gone unsolved for years and there are no active leads for investigators to pursue. If, however, new information emerges the case will be thoroughly re-examined with fresh leads and new forensic technology. With regular visibility, a suspect may also confess to the crime. A Cold Case remains open until it is solved.
The Santa Clara Police Department hopes that re-publicizing Cold Cases gives a voice to those who can no longer speak for themselves, with an ultimate goal of giving answers and a sense of closure to their loved ones.
DID YOU WITNESS THIS CRIME? Stay anonymous and submit your crime tips using the Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers mobile app P3TIPS, online at svcrimestoppers.org or by calling (408) 947-STOP. If your tip leads to an arrest, you are eligible for a CASH reward.
The information you provide could be the missing link that solves the case.
The San Jose Police Department is looking for the missing link to solve it's cold cases. If you have any information for the listed cases you can submit an anonymous tip here with Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers.
